Tuition & Scheduling

Fire Bike training is offered through a simple, per-student tuition model designed to make scheduling flexible for departments while maintaining consistent training quality.

Tuition

$795

per student

4-Day Hands-On Training Program

Tuition includes:

  • Full instruction and scenario-based training
  • Use of training equipment and props
  • Operational deployment guidance
  • Certificate of completion
  • *Students must provide their own bicycle, helmet, and clothing
  • Scheduling an Academy

Fire Bike training is delivered in an academy format and may be hosted in the location that best serves participating agencies.

    This may include:

    • A department's home jurisdiction
    • A regional training site
    • A centrally located city for multi-agency participation

For agencies across the Midwest, training is commonly conducted in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where facilities and training environments are readily available.

    Minimum Enrollment

Fire Bike will schedule and conduct an academy with a minimum of:

    6 registered students

This structure allows agencies to coordinate participation across departments while ensuring appropriate instructor staffing and hands-on training quality.

Departments do not need to fill an entire class on their own. Personnel from multiple agencies are often combined into a single academy.

    Capacity

    Typical class size:

    6–20 students

Class sizes are intentionally limited to maintain safe instructor-to-student ratios and ensure hands-on instruction for every participant.

    Who Can Request an Academy

An academy may be scheduled by:

    A single department
    Multiple neighboring agencies
    Regional training coordinators
    Event or special operations teams

We are happy to assist with coordinating participation across agencies when needed.

    Travel & Hosting

Fire Bike will work with participating agencies to identify the most practical training location based on:

    • Number of students
    • Geographic distribution of participants
    • Availability of suitable training environments

In many cases, training can be conducted without requiring departments to formally host the course.

    Registration & Confirmation

Academy dates are confirmed once minimum enrollment is reached and scheduling logistics are finalized.

Early registration is encouraged due to limited class capacity.
